Took my 2017 Highlander to Toyota of Easley today for noise I heard under the hood. Jacinda worked me in since I was traveling out of state later in the week. She listened & said it sounded like the water pump. Sure enough, she was correct. Jacinda is always courteous and has such a great personality. She is definitely an asset to the Service Department!
Everyone was very nice but when you are picking up sometimes you have to wait too long if your adviser is tied up with a customer. I think you need a better system for pick up. It should not take so long. When you drive in the people greeting does a great job but I do not understand why the advisers all sitting at their desks typing and after a long wait someone will finally ask if they could help you. Took my car to Jiffy Lube and they tried for 30 minutes to get my filter off, said it was far to overtightened, after they already drained my oil. The service tech recommended they CUT it off replace it which would have taken two hours and $200. I told them no thanks, I will take it to Toyota of Easley. The service tech told me Toyota would charge me a $1000 to fix that because there was no way they could get the filter off, then proceeded to charge me $90 for an incomplete service.
